About type programs antivirus and protection on internet

     Antivirus Software , for what use , what is good and what they are eventually? Let’s start with a brief definition: antivirus software is generally used for prevention , protection and removal of computer viruses , also it has the function of scanning (detection) and removal of adware , spyware and malware. If you wonder what they are , well , they are the most common and known types of viruses. Computer Viruses exist for a long time , if i’m not wrong , even before the appearence of internet. They were spreat at first time by floppy disk and by through CD , they were hard to remove because there are few antivirus software and were updated relatively rare (infrequently).

     

     Dr. Solomon’s Anti-Virus Toolkit , AIDSTEST si AntiVir were launched in 1988. At the end of the year 1990 were available 19 antivirus produces , including Norton AntiVirus and McAfee VirusScan.

    

     Infecting the computer with a virus cand be relatively easily , a virus can be taken from the websites of the programs through the internet network (wi-fi) , etc.  So , we can still guard against viruses? Anyone no can guarantee this , but I can offer some tips , tips for to reduce , as much as possible , risk computer virus infection.

    

     Avoid if possible download programs from sites than not provide the necessary information , sites than not offer any guarantee ragarding the content data. If you use trackers or sites for downloading pirated software , avoid being the first to download the materials presented. They no provide information regarding at „health” data in that torrent. Wait until you see the first comments/reviews on the materials you want to download. By downloading a program , regardless of what site , tell you about certain program. The most important recommendation , in my view point , is to enable automatic updates of antivirus. Sometimes a few hours delay can mean infecting your computer.  Another equally important recommandation is to activate the option of updating the operating system you are using , because the system thre may be some bugs (programming errors) that may later become system vulnerabilities.

     

    How does a Antivirus that has to do with a virus ?

There are mainly two techniques that antivirus software uses to detect malware:

1.     Examining and comparing files examined sequences code with code from database antivirus software. In this case, the matching code scanned with the learned database, antivirus deems a potential threat to your computer, and, depending on the user settings, it takes measures accordingly: delete the file scanned, quarantines,  and block execution, etc.

2.     Detect malware based on behavior programs. This approach is based on behavior monitoring software running on computer. For example, if a program tries to write data into a file without authorization, this behavior is detected and signaled user's computer. Unfortunately this approach does not really work, and brings a lot of false alarms.

So ,remember, no matter what use antivirus because the data / personal documents into are the most important in a computer and do not think we would like someone unwanted or malicious personal have access to our data.
