The technology of
today and tomorrow
When talking about the impact of technology
on society , the first thing we think about is how beneficial that it
affected our lives , and by technology I refer especially to the Internet. Technology is
evolving , from the years 2001-2002 at a rapid pace. As an example we
have in the music industry in contact with iTunes , great application of music
developed by Apple Company or books in virtual-libraries in contact with
Amazon , so-called eBooks Kindle. But let us not hurry , news are just
getting started. Many aspects of current life will change dramatically in the
coming years , many industries will be restructured to the ground. Or
disappear. And it will be due to a relatively new concept: Internet of Things , a concept
that encourages interaction between human and artificial intelligence.
Okay , but what does this mean , well talk about some , I say.
Such as your car to drive itself , an
autonomous car that is able to automatically select the optimal route , but
also the fastest on the your time communicating with traffic lights ,
smartphones and systems for traffic monitoring , everything unfolding in a
legally mode , of course. Google is working with Intel to such an idea , and I think
in the next years , not very clear , we see such a autonomous car. I can say
that such autonomous car already exist , partly autonomous , but not able to
drive completely alone.
Let’s move on to another example , this time
one that exists. It’s about Google Assistant , whitch is not very developed
now. Can only do basic things , connection to personal wi-fi network , play
music from different sources , making calls and adjust the temperature of the
house if we have a smart central. It can be found under the name Google Home –
Smart Speaker & Home Assistant and he will have a great potential in the
future.
And these are just a few examples. In
reality , the advantages of an intelligent world are much higher: reducing
consumption of natural resources and energy , decrease pollution , increase the
efficiency of transport and production.
I predict that in the future , robots with
artificial intelligence will not only learn from our language , but also from
new ones by reaching in the end be coaches intelligent teachers , database
storage capacity anormous , all on the basis of what they understand from
us and our behavior. We will migrate to portable monitoring accessories , such
as smartphones , smartwatch , laptop , sensors that cand detect mood or physical
condition and increase the performance and pace of learning. Digital
ingestible pills or devices , I know , sounds like a fiction , but have already
begun to enter the market.
Altogether, one thing remains clear: society
evolves with amazing speed. Things that today we consider „cutting edge
technology” will already be obsolete in a few years. Companies and ideas that
dominate the world today might not exist in 2020.
Although the primary function of the
Internat was that information , learning and development , many users use it as
a means of speaking (many and many hours) with friends from the other parts of
the country or even the world. There’s nothing wrong with that , but i want to
ask how you feel when enter in the
computer lab and the first thing you do is log on to Facebook? We can
learn many more things like programming , application development , creating
websites , only to lose hours , many hours on Facebook that really bring us any
advantage. If we all learn a little of the above , we could contribute to the
concept of „Internet of Things”. But all say , I support technology development
, and it is good to be used for intended purpose.
